Where the R36H Sits in the Market
The R36H is firmly in the budget tier of retro handhelds. It costs meaningfully less than brand-name devices such as the Anbernic RG35XX H, the TrimUI Brick or anything from Retroid — and dramatically less than premium Android handhelds like the Ayn Thor. That price gap is the entire reason to consider it: you get competent NES-through-PS1 emulation for a fraction of what the branded alternatives cost.

Why Prices Differ Between Listings
The R36H isn't made by a single company with controlled pricing. It's produced by independent factories and sold under various seller labels, so listings vary:

For NES, SNES, Game Boy, GBA, Genesis and PS1, yes — this is one of the cheapest competent ways in, and the replaceable battery gives it a longer usable life than sealed-battery rivals.
