Privacy Policy

What R36H.com collects when you browse, why, and how to opt out. Last updated 1 October 2026.

We don't sell anything directly

R36H.com is an independent guide. We don't take orders or payments and you never need an account to read the site. Purchases happen on Amazon, or on R36S Australia for visitors in Australia, under that store's own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider logs standard technical data for each request: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use it to keep the site secure and running. It is not used to identify you. Your country is read from the request only to decide whether to show Amazon US or R36S Australia links; it is not stored.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which guides are useful — which pages are read and which links are clicked. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland analytics cookies are off by default and only set if you consent. Elsewhere you can block them with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Some pages show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised advertising in Google Ad Settings and read how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before any advertising cookie is set.

Amazon affiliate links

When you follow a link to Amazon, Amazon may set cookies to attribute a purchase to our Associates account. Those cookies are controlled by Amazon and covered by Amazon's privacy notice. How these links fund the site is explained in our disclosure.

Cookies

Cookies on this site come from the services above: Google Analytics, Google AdSense and Amazon. The site itself sets no login or tracking cookies. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working without them.

Children

The site is written for adults buying and setting up a handheld. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
