Quick answer

The R36H plays 8-bit and 16-bit consoles, Game Boy Advance and most PlayStation games well. Nintendo 64 is limited, and PSP and Dreamcast are experimental. Bundled game collections vary by seller, so use these pages to see what runs well rather than as a list of what is on your card.

What's on the Stock Card?

Listings advertise anything from a few thousand to tens of thousands of bundled games, and the count varies by seller. Tech Tactician's review unit came with a generic 64GB card that showed 53.7GB of usable space and ran ArkOS 2.0. Bundled cards are the most common failure point, so back yours up early with our SD card guide. Playing games you do not own may not be legal where you live; the safest route is to add backups of games you own.

Adding Your Own Games

  1. Use a second microSD card in the TF2-GAME slot, formatted as exFAT.
  2. Create a roms folder at the root, then the system folders from the table above.
  3. Copy your files into the matching folders, put the card in, and restart the games list.

What you need

To add your own games you need a branded microSD card for TF2-GAME and a card reader. Reviewed units shipped with a generic no-name card, so a branded card is a safer home for your games and backups. More options on our R36H accessories page.
